Situation:

Priya Foods is a division of Ushodaya Enterprises Limited (Eenadu News Paper Group). Starting out with six popular flavors of pickles, today Priya has grown to be the numero uno organization with wide variety of pickles, pastes, spice powders, and many more. Not only that, it has expanded across the boundaries with branches all over Andhra Pradesh and is also exporting its cuisine. Running its business at such a multitude level, Priya was facing with the following major problems.

• Integration of data of all the branches with the head office
• Increased communication costs and time between manufacturing units, delivery units, and corporate office.
• Consolidation of data has become a Herculean task because of number of manufacturing units and delivery units.
• Increased cost and time of communication in export transactions.

This Web-based enterprise application is a very simple, highly flexible, and very user-friendly web application that can be used by all the branches as well as its export customers to facilitate smooth coordination. This application has been developed using ASP, VB, Javascript, and XML technologies and using SQL Server 2000 as the backend.
